Things to Do in Boston

I personally think New England is the coziest place to be during the holidays. Here’s what we’re looking forward to this weekend!

1. Linden Square Holiday Stroll

Join us in Wellesley tomorrow, December 13 from 1pm-3pm for free cotton candy! Linden Square has so many other amazing offerings such as:

  • Free hot cocoa, holiday treats, and kids’ crafts in the Courtyard
  • Special visit from Christmas Minnie Mouse and Rudolph
  • Festive tunes with Bach to Rock
  • Touch-a-Truck with the Wellesley Fire Department
  • Support from our partners at the Wellesley Lions Club
  • Holiday freebies and giveaways from select Linden Square businesses

2. Boston Public Market

Shop local with rotating pop-up vendors every weekend at Boston Public Market. Plus, this weekend; free hot cocoa bar you can customize!

3. Frozen Fire Festival

Free to get in! Circus and fire performers, and live ice sculpture demonstrations. Play around with curling rinks or elevate your holiday shopping with the artisan market.

4. Kendall Square Holiday on Ice

Artisan market, food, ice sculptures, craft for all ages and so much more! There will even be two professional figure skating performances!

5. Check out the Holiday Lights!

We’re big fans of the Boston Calendar (who isn’t?) This list is so perfect for a tour of some of the best holiday lights in the city.

6. Somerville Illuminations

A local, self-guided tour of the best holiday lights in Somerville! Pack some snacks (I can’t get enough of the Jingle Jangle from Trader Joe’s), bundle up and utilize their map of some of the best light displays!

Pro Tip: Tomorrow 12/13 from 5:45-8pm they’re hosting a Festive Holiday Lights Bike Ride!
